What Is CrewCapture?

CrewCapture helps companies collect real photos and videos from the people doing the work, then turns those uploads into organized marketing content, recognition, voting, and team pride.

The Simple Idea

CrewCapture exists because good work should not disappear on someone's phone.

Companies do real work every day. Crews finish jobs, build things, solve problems, and leave job sites looking better than they found them. But the proof of that work often gets lost, sitting in camera rolls, buried in text message threads, and forgotten in group chats before anyone thinks to do anything with it.

CrewCapture gives the team one simple place to upload photos and videos so the company can actually use them. Show off what your team built.

The Problem CrewCapture Solves

Most companies need more real content for social media, websites, ads, recruiting, proposals, and customer education. The challenge is not that the work does not look good. The photos and videos are usually scattered everywhere:

  • Employee phones and camera rolls
  • Text messages and group chats
  • Email threads
  • Random shared folders with no organization

By the time someone needs marketing content, they have to chase people for photos, or settle for whatever they can find. CrewCapture fixes the collection problem so the company always has a growing library of real job-site content.

How CrewCapture Works

The workflow is straightforward:

  1. 1Employees upload photos and videos from their phone or computer. No app download required.
  2. 2Uploads go directly into the company's connected Google Drive.
  3. 3Admins review uploads inside CrewCapture and approve the best ones.
  4. 4Admins click Like for Marketing on uploads that look useful for promoting the business.
  5. 5Liked uploads are automatically copied into a Liked for Marketing folder in Google Drive, ready to grab and use.
  6. 6Employees earn points, recognition, and can participate in weekly voting.
  7. 7Over time, the company builds a useful library of real content, without chasing anyone for photos.

Why Google Drive Matters

One of the biggest benefits of CrewCapture is that uploaded photos and videos go directly into the company's own connected Google Drive. This is intentional.

You own it

The company owns and controls the storage. Content is not trapped inside another software platform.

Familiar and accessible

Google Drive is searchable, shareable, and easy to access from any device.

Flexible

Admins can download, organize, share, or archive files however they want, inside or outside CrewCapture.

Practical

No extra storage subscriptions. If you already have a Google account, you can connect it.

If a company already has a Google Drive account, they can connect it. If a company does not want to mix CrewCapture uploads with their main business files, they can create a new free Gmail account just for CrewCapture and connect that Google Drive instead. This is a simple way to keep CrewCapture uploads separate from the company's main files.

Employees do not need to see, open, manage, or interact with the Google Drive at all. Employees only upload through CrewCapture. The company admin controls the Google Drive connection.

The Liked for Marketing Folder

When an admin clicks Like for Marketing on an upload, CrewCapture creates a copy of that file inside a dedicated Liked for Marketing folder in Google Drive.

This matters because without it, someone has to dig through every upload later to find the good ones. With it, the best marketing candidates are already waiting in one place.

  • The original file stays exactly where it was uploaded. Nothing is moved.
  • The liked copy becomes an easy-to-find marketing candidate.
  • The admin or marketing person can open that folder and grab files for social media, websites, ads, recruiting, proposals, or case studies, without hunting through everything.

CrewCapture collects everything, then helps separate the best marketing candidates into one useful folder.

Why Employees Should Care

CrewCapture is not just about giving management more photos. It is about helping employees get credit for the work they are already doing.

Your work matters. CrewCapture helps make it visible.

  • Show the work you are proud of
  • Get recognized when your uploads are liked for marketing or receive votes
  • Help the company win more work by showing off real results
  • See your work show up in company marketing and proposals
  • Earn points and participate in leaderboards and weekly voting

The crew that does good work deserves to have that work seen. CrewCapture makes it easier for that to happen.

What CrewCapture Is Not

CrewCapture is not:

  • A surveillance tool
  • A quota system designed to penalize employees who do not upload
  • A place to shame people for low participation
  • A photography contest where only perfect pictures matter
  • A replacement for good management

The goal is to make it easy to capture real work, recognize the people who contribute, and help the company build a useful content library over time.

A Simple Example

1

A landscaping crew finishes a patio.

2

Someone uploads a few photos through CrewCapture before leaving the job site.

3

The files go into the company's connected Google Drive automatically.

4

The admin reviews the uploads in CrewCapture and clicks Like for Marketing on the best one.

5

CrewCapture copies that photo into the Liked for Marketing folder in Google Drive.

6

The employee earns recognition and points.

7

The company now has a real photo ready for a social post, project page, proposal, or ad, without anyone having to chase anyone for it.

The Big Picture

CrewCapture turns everyday work into useful marketing content while helping employees feel proud of what they helped build.

Every job site has something worth capturing. Every crew has members who do good work. CrewCapture gives that work a place to go.

Good work should not disappear in a camera roll.
